Stingray Pressure Pumping Shop Mechanic (23044)

General Purpose of Position: Perform required maintenance, repairs, and restorations to any and all equipment at the yard. Assigned to specific shift and rotation. Performs maintenance on equipment brought in to the yard.
Essential Job Duties:
Inspect, analyze, test, measure, and repair equipment as needed by Stingray.
Perform entire engine disassembly and assembly.
Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
Clean and lubricate parts and equipment.
Test-run repaired equipment to ensure adequacy of repairs.
Perform evaluations and repairs on electrical systems, brakes & air systems, chassis & running gear, engine & accessories.
Diagnose and repair downhole pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
Specialized skills in welding, engine tune-up and overhaul, gearbox, electrical, hydraulics, and paint & body work.
Supervisory skills knowledge including performance management and employee relations.
Knowledge of maintenance inspections procedures and internal & external compliance requirements.
Manage inventory.
Perform with the testing, and evaluation of machinery, engines, and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, oil and gas preferred.
Knowledge of diesel engine and hydraulic systems including mechanical and electrical system components, injectors, pumps, alternators, and starters.
Own basic mechanics tool set.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work irregular hours and be on call as necessary
Ability to effectively communicate
Ability to successfully solve problems
Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies
Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
